Wednesday’s Crush – The Wobble Stool

I love a comfortable chair…especially at work. Though my usual seat is comfortable, after an extended amount of time I feel the stiffness in my joints when I try to get up.

Enter the Wobble Stool – a no frills seat, no back, no armrests, just a padded seat designed to fit your fanny and force you to sit up straight.

I gave it a shot and there are pros and cons to this heavy-duty, yet compact stool.

Why I like it:Wobble_Stool

The seat is comfortable with curvatures for your legs on each side. It leans from side to side, making grabbing objects from each side of a desk easy. It's weighted and doesn't slide or tip while in use even when picking up items off the floor.

The Wobble Stool makes getting out of the chair less difficult because the legs are more in a slightly bent position rather than flat on the floor or tucked under each leg. The seats come in three colors, black, blue and red.

The downside is that while it's comfortable, it weights quite a bit making it rough when you want to move in closer or side to side at your desk — and it's costly. Each stool runs $199.99, which many might find a bit too much.

But, if you've got the expendable dough and want to check it out, it's a pretty good investment…plus it's just plain fun.

Where to find it:

UncagedErgonomics.com sells their Wobble Stool through their website or on other online outlets like Amazon.com or eBay.
