Allergy Relief From the Season for Sneezing

Here are some more important tips for planning your outdoor adventures:

- Avoid mowing the lawn if fresh cut grass triggers your symptoms (after all, isn't that what spouses are for?)

- Get rid of weeds in your garden and lawn that can elevate allergens in the air, such as nettle, dock, English plantain and ragweed.

- Plant brightly colored flowers and those with strong scents, which attract insects that will transfer the pollen instead of flowers that rely on wind for pollination. Some great brightly scented flowers include pansies, tulips, irises, azaleas, and poppies.

- Keep your car windows rolled up and the air-conditioning on when driving, which will filter all the air entering your vehicle.

Allergens Inside Your Home
Didn't you already do your spring cleaning[1] for the year? As much as you may dread housework, when you're battling allergies that can ruin your week, you'll want to tackle all the allergens you can.
