Plank Parade

The plank sounds like a workout created by a pirate. Actually, this move is one of the best workouts out there for strengthening your body from head to toe, especially your core. This series of workouts starts easy but gets progressively harder, giving you something new to work on as you get fit.

Work at your own pace and listen to your body, advises Lifescript Fitness Expert Sara Haley. Your goal is to keep your body in one long line from your head down to your toes by squeezing your butt and pulling your navel to your spine, she says.
